Keito Nakamura has appeared on Feyenoord’s radar, reports 1908.nl. The wing attacker is still under contract with LASK Linz until mid-2025, the club where Gernot Trauner also played between 2017 and 2021. On Sunday it was announced that Feyenoord is also betting on a new left winger in addition to the arrival of a center striker.

Nakamura has been under contract with Linz since the summer of 2021. In 68 official matches, he scored 26 goals and 9 assists. The attacker makes such an impression that Feyenoord has now become ‘broadly convinced’ of his qualities. The Stadium Club has according to 1908.nl no offer has been made for Nakamura as yet.

The 22-year-old left winger is already familiar with the Eredivisie. FC Twente rented him from Gamba Osaka in the 2019/2020 season. Nakamura came to a total of eighteen official duels on behalf of the Tukkers and managed to score six goals and an assist. Twente decided not to exercise the purchase option, after which the attacker was rented out to Sint-Truiden. Due to his good performance, he made his debut for the Japan national team in March.

Feyenoord is also still serious in the market for Ricardo Pepi. The team from Rotterdam would like to take over the striker from FC Augsburg and are reportedly going to submit a second offer to the Bundesliga club. How high Feyenoord’s bid is is not disclosed, as was already the case with the first bid. Augsburg would demand about sixteen million euros for Pepi, the same amount that the Germans paid to FC Dallas in January 2022.
