McAtee, who was previously linked to Ajax as a possible replacement for Mohammed Kudus, is still with City until mid-2026. He is an English midfielder who usually plays an attacking role. The youth product of the Citizens is the younger brother of John McAtee and was loaned to Sheffield United last season.
