It is not entirely impossible that Frenkie de Jong will leave for another club, his father John de Jong tells the General Newspaper. The latter cites Barcelona’s financial problems as a possible cause. “Obviously I know that Barcelona needs money and a great offer for Frenkie could help,” said the 24-year-old midfielder’s father.
“But I don’t see it happening that quickly,” John de Jong adds quickly. “Although, the five top European clubs have all called.” However, Frenkie de Jong is not drawn by clubs Bayern Munich or Manchester United, his father indicates. “It’s often shitty weather there. Frenkie de Jong has no intention of leaving Barcelona.
