A very sad moment in Leipzig on Saturday evening. During the Bundesliga match between RB Leipzig and Borussia Mönchengladbach, it was announced that a supporter in the stands had to be resuscitated. However, the help was of no avail: Leipzig announced shortly afterwards that the person in question had died.
Early in the match it became clear that something was going on in the stands. “Someone needs to be resuscitated in the stadium,” Leipzig wrote on X. “Due to this incident, our fans are currently refraining from vocally supporting the team. We hope for the best.â€
Forty-five minutes later, the club returned to the event via X, with a sad announcement. “Unfortunately, we have to announce that the person did not make it and died in the stadium.”
Leader if we have a lot of money, because the person is not destroyed and neither is the stadium destroyed.
We have been most grateful and grateful in the meantime. Moments since both the family and all our loved ones.

“This affects us deeply, and all our thoughts are with the family and other relatives at this difficult time. Rest in peace.â€
Despite the sad event, the match was completed. Leipzig won the game 2-0 thanks to goals from Xavi Simons and Loïs Openda.
