Latest update:

Manchester United have done very well with the draw for the semi-finals in the FA Cup. During the draw, which was held on Sunday after the spectacular clash with Liverpool (4-3 win), manager Erik ten Hag's team was paired with Coventry City.

United worked their way past Liverpool at their own Old Trafford in a true spectacle after 120 minutes of football, where Dutch captain Virgil van Dijk started in the starting line-up. Antony made it 2-2 just before the end of regular playing time, his second goal of this season in all competitions.

In extra time, Liverpool fought back to a 2-3 lead thanks to a deflected shot from Harvey Elliot, after which United did everything they could to force a hole in the Liverpool defense. Ultimately, the home team leveled through Marcus Rashford. In extra time, it was Amad Diallo who set the final score at 4-3.

Not long after the final whistle, the draw for the semi-finals in the English cup tournament was made. United may compete against Coventry City, which plays in the Championship.

This means fortunate news for the Ten Hag team, because it avoids top favorite Manchester City. In the other semi-final they will have to deal with the ailing Chelsea, who defeated Leicester City earlier in the day with pain and difficulty (4-2).

Both semi-finals and the final will be played at the legendary Wembley. The semi-finals will take place on the weekend of April 20 and 21. The final is scheduled for May 25.
