Eduardo Camavinga has most likely played his last game for Stade Rennes. According to French media, the talented midfielder has announced his departure in conversation with the hard core of his current employer. It is still unknown to which club Camavinga will move. L’Equipe reports that the Ligue 1 club is sticking to an asking price of thirty million euros.

Stade Rennes has tried in vain in recent months to break open and extend the contract of the eighteen-year-old midfielder, which runs until mid-2022. To prevent him from walking out on a free transfer in a year’s time, the club is committed to getting rid of him in the remaining eight days of the current transfer window. The market value of Camavinga is increased by Transfermarkt estimated at 55 million euros.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who assumes a transfer fee of 35 million euros, reports on Twitter that Stade Rennes is open to a sale of Camavinga. A choice will be made depending on the offers that come in for the French international. Romano emphasizes that it is an ‘open race’. Camavinga has already been associated with several top European clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. According to L’Equipe Camavinga’s situation is still being closely monitored by PSG.

Camavinga probably last played on behalf of Rennes on Sunday. In the match against Nantes (1-0) at Roazhon Park, he came in as a substitute fifteen minutes before the end. Quest France Sport reports that the midfielder entered into a conversation with the hard core of Rennes afterwards and announced his departure.
