Melayro Bogarde will extend his contract with TSG Hoffenheim, transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano reported Monday afternoon. The nineteen-year-old Dutchman is currently only under contract for one year, but has reached an agreement with the club management about a new contract until mid-2024. According to Romano, Bogarde was approached by Ajax and several clubs from the Premier League, while rumors were also circulating about it. interest from Barcelona and VfL Wolfsburg.

The nephew of former international Winston Bogarde, who can play as a full-back, central defender and midfielder, played nine times in the Bundesliga last season. Seven times he made his appearance as a substitute; twice Bogarde had a starting spot.
