Borussia Dortmund has adjusted the asking price for Jadon Sancho down, so you know Goal Thursday. In the new situation, a minimum of ninety million euros must be deposited for the 21-year-old wing attacker. Last year, Sancho’s transfer amount was still 120 million euros. The Englishman is allowed to explore his transfer options ‘under certain conditions’, or so it sounds from Germany.

If interested clubs meet the requirements set by the Dortmund management, there is normally nothing to prevent Sancho from leaving. Sporting director Michael Zorc spoke earlier this week in a meeting with the ARD about one gentleman’s agreement with the young winger from England. “That agreement was already there last year, that Jadon may leave Dortmund under certain conditions. He has been with this club for a few years (since 2017, ed.). Zorc emphasizes.

Sancho was linked with Manchester United last year, which at the time, however, refused to meet the asking price of 120 million euros. Liverpool, Chelsea and his old employer Manchester City have also been featured in various English media. Given the corona crisis and its financial consequences, it remains to be seen whether the clubs from the Premier League are willing to make an offer of at least 90 million euros in Dortmund. Liverpool, for example, first wants to sell players before they can think of attracting Sancho.

According to Goal Sancho’s poor performance in the past period has to do with the lowering of the asking price by Dortmund. Despite this, the winger scored 6 goals and 11 assists in 23 matches in the Bundesliga. In addition, due to the corona crisis, it is believed that they can no longer hold on to the original 120 million euros. A sale of Sancho, and possibly Haaland, could gain momentum if Dortmund does not qualify for the Champions League. With three more duels ahead BVB one point behind number four Eintracht Frankfurt.
