Michiel Kramer finds it strange that Mo Allach is never mentioned at Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV. The 34-year-old striker of RKC Waalwijk believes that the technical director of his club has earned such a step higher. Kramer praises Allach Studio Football for his work and is supported in this by Ibrahim Afellay, who is also impressed by the 49-year-old Hagenaar.
According to The Telegraph After the rejection of Julian Ward (Liverpool), Ajax is now working hard on the arrival of Sven Mislintat, who has been without a club since November last year after his departure from VfB Stuttgart. Presenter Arno Vermeulen does not understand that. “How do you get to someone like that? England is canceled and then we find someone in Germany? That’s bizarre. Why are you coming out to him? It’s inimitable. He seems to have scouted Robert Lewandowski. Well, brilliant.”

He has been promoted, has reached European football, has become champion. He has always made selections that get results.” Afellay, also a table guest, sees potential in the striker’s suggestion. “Allach has done a good job everywhere. At RKC too, with limited resources.”
Allach put an end to his playing career in July 2006 and then started immediately as director of player policy at VVV-Venlo, FC Twente, RKC Waalwijk, Vitesse and Maccabi Haifa. He was then technical director at Vitesse between 2019 and 2020, after which he was appointed technical director at RKC in June 2020. This season, the Waalwijkers are in a good eighth place in the Eredivisie. Last winter, Allach managed to surprise with the transfer-free arrival of Mats Seuntjens, who has already scored three goals and seven assists since his transfer from Fortuna Sittard.
Rafael van der Vaart agrees with Vermeulen’s opinion that it is strange that Ajax is only looking beyond the national borders. “It is said that there are not many options for Ajax, but there are a lot of good technical directors. Ted van Leeuwen (FC Twente, ed.), Max Huiberts (AZ, ed.), you have a lot of guests with an eye for talent.
