Latest update:

Club América has confirmed the arrival of Javairô Dilrosun. The number two of the Mexican football league takes over the 25-year-old winger from Feyenoord for several million euros.

“I came back to the Netherlands last year, with the aim of being successful with Feyenoord. The fact that we have already won a championship in the first season gives me a proud feeling that will always prevail. Everyone who contributed to this and me a feeling from home in Rotterdam, I am grateful for that. I wish you all the best.”

FC Lorient and Celta de Vigo were previously in the market for Dilrosun, who is now on his way to Mexico. Club América submitted a proposal that insiders thought was the best. According to Krabbendam, Dilrosun still has to reach a personal agreement with his new employer in the morning, but that seems to have been successful.

It is not yet known how high Club América's offer is. Transfer market estimates the market value of Dilrosun at 4 million euros. That is exactly the amount that Feyenoord paid in the summer of 2022 to take over Dilrosun from the German Hertha BSC.

After Oussama Idrissi, Dilrosun will become the second Feyenoord player from the 2023 champion team to play in the Liga MX. The 27-year-old Moroccan international has been playing for CF Pachuca since mid-September, where he is contracted until mid-2025. It is not yet known for how long Dilrosun can commit to Club América. According to 1908.nl the right winger trained with the selection of trainer Arne Slot on Wednesday.

Since coming to Feyenoord, Dilrosun has played 55 official matches for the Stadium club, in which he scored 7 goals and 9 assists. This season it seemed that Dilrosun had reached a dead end, but after the winter break the single international of the Dutch team can regularly count on a starting spot.
