Cristiano Ronaldo has finally decided to leave and has asked Juventus to be sold, Gianluca Di Marzio and Fabrizio Romano report. The 36-year-old superstar is known to have set his sights on a transfer to Manchester City, which is currently discussing Ronaldo’s contract terms with Jorge Mendes. Juventus are waiting for an official offer from England.

Ronaldo has informed Juventus that he will not be available for the Serie A home game against Empoli on Sunday. Romano previously reported that Juve wants 25 million euros for the Portuguese. He added that Manchester City are looking to make an outbound transfer to facilitate the arrival of Ronaldo. Raheem Sterling is nominated to leave if the right offer comes in.

Di Marzio reports that Juventus are looking around for a replacement for Ronaldo, with Gabriel Jesus in mind, but the Brazilian striker is absolutely not allowed to leave Manchester City by Pep Guardiola. La Vecchia Signora inquired at Paris Saint-Germain about Mauro Icardi and was also blunt there: the Argentine striker must remain in Paris in view of the imminent transfer of Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid.

Other names that pass in review in Turin are Moise Kean and Gianluca Scamacca, both good acquaintances of trainer Massimiliano Allegri. Kean comes from the youth academy of Juventus and was sold to Everton in 2019 for 27.5 million euros, where he can now leave. Scamacca, who played for Jong PSV in the past, is under contract with Sassuolo, but is not the first choice there.
