FC Twente released a corona case on Wednesday. The club reports that the corona virus has been diagnosed with Queensy Menig. The attacker has no complaints, but has immediately gone into isolation. Many are the first FC Twente player to be infected with the corona virus. SC Heerenveen is therefore the only remaining Eredivisie club without corona infections.

The source and contact investigation that has taken place has shown that Godfried Roemeratoe has been in the immediate vicinity of Menig. That is why the 21-year-old midfielder has to be quarantined for the time being. The loss of the two is a hard blow for trainer Ron Jans, among whom Menig and Roemeratoe have a basic place this season. To follow TC Tubania it is still unclear what the consequences will be for Sunday’s line-up for the game with PSV.

On his way to Sunday afternoon’s home game (4.45 p.m.) Jans also received good news. Danilo and Tyronne Ebuehei did not play on Tuesday-evening for the Olympic team of Brazil and the national team of Nigeria respectively. They will therefore return to Enschede fit and are expected to be available against PSV. Tonight Václav Cerny will play against Slovakia with the Czech Republic, while Joël Drommel is on the bench in the Nations League game between Poland and the Netherlands.
