Christian Eriksen has turned up in Switzerland. The midfielder seems to be maintaining his condition at FC Chiasso at the moment, according to images circulating on the internet. The videos show Eriksen doing a technique exercise and finishing it on target. The Dane is awaiting a new employer after his contract with Internazionale was recently terminated with immediate effect due to the defibrillator installed.

Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during the European Championship match between Finland and Denmark last summer. A defibrillator was then fitted to him, but according to the rules of the Italian Football Association you are not allowed to play in Serie A with it. Inter was then forced to tear up the midfielder’s contract. Eriksen has been waiting for a new club ever since. The most recently surfaced images come from Ticino, which is home to the Swiss club FC Chiasso. The club is located an hour’s drive from Milan.

Eriksen also appeared on the training field at his old club Odense BK at the beginning of this month, where he would already train with the ball in the presence of a personal trainer. The playmaker did according to the Danish BT some pass and kick exercises, but sources within the club reported that the main focus was on cardio training. Eriksen has been under contract with Inter since January 2020. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, a return to Ajax is out of the question for the time being. The Amsterdammers have not reported to him.
