Chelsea booked a convincing win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening. In the first act, the tempo of the ball was high and the game waved up and down, although the number of great chances played was few. The midfielder fired on the enemy goal from about 25 meters. His shot was deflected by Eric Dier in such a way that the ball ended up out of reach of Lloris in the bottom right corner: 0-2. In the closing quarters, Thiago Silva had the opportunity to make his second of the evening in almost identical fashion, but this time Tottenham’s closing post was able to save the day.
