Chelsea is preparing the paperwork to withdraw from the Super League, the report said BBC, The Times and the Guardian Tuesday evening. The Blues are among the twelve founders, but now seem to be backtracking. According to Sky Sports Manchester City has also informed the organizer that it will leave the Super League. Earlier on Tuesday it became clear that the two clubs are ‘hesitant’ about their participation. There are now sounds from various media that Atlético Madrid and Barcelona are also about to leave the Super League.

Chelsea supporters made clear their dissatisfaction with their club’s participation on Tuesday, prior to the game against Brighton & Hove Albion at 9 p.m. Hundreds of fans gathered outside Stamford Bridge. Petr Cech, technical advisor at Chelsea, came out to address the crowd. Images that have appeared on social media show that Cech is arguing with some fans. There is a vocation, as he emphasizes that “this is not the way” to convey the dissatisfaction. He asks the supporters to leave the field so that the players’ bus can arrive.

Chelsea and Manchester City would be shocked by all the negative reactions from the supporters and the harsh words of UEFA and the Premier League.
