Christopher Nkunku has undergone a medical examination in the deepest secrecy at Chelsea, so report BILD and Fabrizio Romano. According to the Italian transfer market expert, the Londoners are already working on next season and have made the RB Leipzig attacker a multi-year contract proposal. Both clubs have yet to agree on the transfer fee to be paid.
Nkunku extended his contract with Leipzig for two years in June and is now under contract with him until mid-2026 those Roten Bullen. BILD now reveals that Nkunku underwent a secret medical examination at Chelsea shortly before the summer transfer window closed. The Blues would have subjected the French international to various cardiological tests in Frankfurt. At that time, Chelsea was already betting on a transfer in the summer of 2023. The new owners of the London top club already spent more than 275 million euros last summer on Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Carney Chukwuemeka, Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang and Gabriel Sloninan to sign.
Nkunku had an absolute top season last year with 35 goals and 19 assists in 50 games. The 24-year-old playmaker won the DFB-Bokal with Leipzig and was crowned player of the year in the Bundesliga at the end of the season.
