Chelsea have accepted an offer of forty million euros for Tammy Abraham, report Goal and Gianluca DiMarzio. The offer comes from AS Roma, which considers the 23-year-old striker to be Edin Dzeko’s successor. Abraham already spoke to Jose Mourinho, but has not yet given his yes to AS Roma.

Tiago Pinto, the general manager of the Romans, hopes to close the deal soon. Roma quickly want a replacement for Dzeko, who in turn will succeed Romelu Lukaku at Internazionale. The Belgian striker is going to Chelsea for 115 million euros and is currently in London to complete his transfer, Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea let Abraham leave alone with a buyback clause. The Londoners currently have no room for the English forward, but still predict a great future for him. Should Abraham continue to develop stormy, Chelsea have the option to bring him back. Know what amount has been agreed upon Goal not, but it is in any case much higher than the forty million euros that AS Roma now have to pay for him.

It is not yet certain whether Abraham himself also wants to go to AS Roma. The six-time international is also in the interest of Arsenal, which, however, is much less concrete and must first sell players. Abraham started last season under Frank Lampard as a base player at Chelsea, but has been sidetracked under Thomas Tuchel. With the imminent arrival of Lukaku, the chance of playing time for Abraham is already minimal. In total, he is on 82 official appearances for Chelsea, in which he produced 30 goals and 12 assists.
