Alex Plat has been told by NAC Breda that there is no longer a place for him in the A-selection. From now on, the midfielder will train separately from the group and can look forward to another club, the team from Breda add. The expulsion of Plat is remarkable, as he was still captain under Robert Molenaar last year. Five other players are also no longer welcome in the main squad.

NAC throws the return of Plat on the arrival of some newcomers. With the arrival of Victor Wernersson, Elías Már Ómarsson, Casper Staring and Tom Boere, NAC is making some changes in the selection with a view to the future. In addition to Plat, Ruben Ligeon also trains separately from the group from now on. The two have been told by the club management that there is no longer room for them and that they can look forward to a new club.

Plat will have to hurry to find a new club. The transfer market closes in the Netherlands on Tuesday evening at midnight. BN The Voice writes that the decision to put Plat and Ligeon back was taken by technical commissioner Pierre van Hooijdonk and technical director Peter Maas. The two take a critical look at the selection and have a bad news conversation with players in whom no future is seen.

That also happened with Stef de Wijs, Jethro Mashart, Martijn Brandt and Ayouba Kosiah. The talents hardly get to play in the main force and are given the opportunity to gain experience with the U23 team. NAC meanwhile reports that it is not excluded that more players will report in Breda. The club was already very decisive on the transfer market, which should lead to a higher ranking of the current ninth place in the Kitchen Champion Division.
