Burak Yilmaz has spoken out in a major interview about all the stories that are doing the rounds about him. The Turkish striker of Fortuna Sittard would determine the line-up, ensured that Sjors Ultee was fired, argued with striker trainer Frank Demouge and paid profit premiums. “It’s all lies,” Yilmaz tells ESPN.
The resignation of Ultee, who was succeeded by Julio Velázquez, also came as a surprise to Yilmaz. “That’s a decision made by the club board. After all, I’m just an employee here. The fact that people say that is shameful. That’s especially very disrespectful to the coaching staff.
