Brazilian police detained six Boca Juniors players at the police station for some time on Wednesday following the disturbances against Atlético Mineiro in the battle for the Copa Libertadores, the authorities said in a statement. Two players were detained for damaging property, four others are charged with physical and verbal abuse. The players have since been released on condition that they appear in court.
