Schiedammer Kyanno Lorenzo Silva (18) is in the interest of Atalanta, Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, various English and Portuguese media reported on Thursday. The winger, youth international of the Netherlands Under 19, has an expiring contract with his current employer Benfica.

Due to his impending transfer-free status, Silva is an interesting attacker for various top European clubs. Among other BBC reports that the Reds seek rapprochement with Silva's management, who could play for both the Netherlands and Portugal.

Because Silva's contract expires in the summer of 2024, he could be picked up from Benfica for a few hundred euros. This season, the right winger plays his matches for Benfica Under 23. Silva also played three matches in the group stage of the UEFA Youth League.

Silva started his career at SVV Schiedam, after which he also played for Sportclub Feyenoord. In the amateur branch of the Rotterdam national champion, Silva was scouted by Sparta Rotterdam, where he played in the youth academy between 2017 and 2021.

In the summer of 2021, Silva was given the opportunity to play for Benfica. The Schiedammer with Portuguese roots signed a three-season contract, which expires next summer. It is currently unknown whether the Portuguese record champion is betting on Silva staying longer.

Silva was called up for the Netherlands Under 19s during the last international match. He is one of four players in coach Mischa Visser's selection who is active abroad. Captain Dean Huijsen (Juventus), Ezechiel Banzuzi (OH Leuven) and Julian Rijkhoff (Borussia Dortmund) also earn their living abroad.

If Silva decides to choose Dortmund, who is also interested, he can also play in a club with Rijkhoff. The high-scoring striker is known as one of the greatest talents in the youth academy BVB. Rijkhoff is still stuck in the Signal Iduna Park until mid-2026 and may therefore be able to welcome a Dutchman at short notice.
