Besiktas succeeded in taking the three points after a tough match at Antalyaspor. The team of Senol Günes still fell behind due to Ömer Toprak, but thanks to top scorer Vincent Aboubakar and Cenk Tosun, Besiktas managed to win the second half: 1-3. Thanks to the win, Besiktas overtakes fellow townsmen Fenerbahçe, while the other club from Istanbul, Galatasaray, has a two-point lead over Besiktas. However, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe have two game credits.
The first danger of the match came from Alexandru Maxim. The Romanian tested Antalya goalkeeper Helton Leite, who had the ball in two instances. The home team also showed itself through Dogukan Sinik, who encountered Besiktas goalie Mert Günok and a defender. It was hit at the next chance. A perfectly placed free kick from Fernando hit Toprak’s head, who headed in the short corner: 1-0. Before the break, Fredy came close to 2-0 on behalf of Antalyaspor, while Valentin Rosier on the other hand, on a pass from Tosun, saw his bet end up in the hands of Helton.
Ten minutes after the break, the redeeming equalizer for Besiktas was there, when Aboubakar headed a corner kick perfectly into the far corner: 1-1. However, it did not immediately lead to the desired dominance for Besiktas, who got away well when Günok was completely wrong after half an hour with a corner kick. To his relief, he saw the header go over. Antalyaspor took the initiative with Fredy and regularly came out threatening, but Arthur Masuaku managed to prevent worse for Besiktas twice.
Ten minutes before the end everything fell into place for Besiktas. Bunyamin Balci was sent off after a foul on the broken through Nathan Redmond, who took the subsequent free kick at the corner of the box himself. From a messy situation, Tosun finally managed to strike: 1-2. Aboubakar provided the icing on the cake. The Cameroonian received the ball beautifully from Tayfur Bingöl and hit the ball hard via the bottom of the crossbar: 1-3.
