Besiktas has won the Turkish Cup tournament for the eleventh time in its history. The Black Eagles After an exciting match against Trabzonspor, they won the match through Al Musrati deep into injury time: 3-2.

On the Besiktas side, Vincent Aboubakar, Semih Kiliçsoy, Cenk Tosun, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Milot Rashica started with some big names on the bench. There was a starting place for former AZ player Jonas Svensson. Stefano Denswil kicked off at Trabzonspor.

It was Besiktas that was the first to seriously think about a goal, when Ernest Muci was reached on the left side of the sixteen after a nice attack. However, his shot flew a meter wide.

After just fifteen minutes, Paul Onuachu gave Trabzonspor the lead in an extremely beautiful way. The former top scorer of KRC Genk had a wonderful transition and only had Omar Colley in front of him. Onuachu rounded the defender and outwitted Besiktas goalie Mert Günok with a nice marker: 0-1.

Besiktas wanted to repair the deficit as quickly as possible and created two excellent chances in a short time. Jackson Muleka first simply got rid of Denswil, and then shot into Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Çakir with his right. Moments later, Colley just tapped over from a corner.

Besiktas equalized just before half time. The Black Eagles were awarded a penalty after a cross from Salih Uçan was stopped by the arm of Enis Bardhi. Rachid Ghezzal took responsibility and, despite a massive whistle concert from the Trabzon fans present, shot into the left corner: 1-1.

Besiktas took the good feeling into the changing rooms and took the lead ten minutes after the interruption, when a wonderfully subtle cross from Muleka was promoted to an assist by Uçan. The former AS Roma midfielder headed into the short corner: 2-1.

Trabzonspor had a huge opportunity to equalize after an hour of play. Trezeguet's header hit the crossbar, after which the ball landed perfectly at Onuachu's feet. The Nigerian had the ball to tap in, but shot against Günok's leg. The goalie was still on his way to the ground after his attempt to deflect Trezeguet's header had come to nothing.

It was also against Besiktas, because barely a minute after that chance, Ghezzal's beautiful shot hit the crossbar. Trabzonspor had to score to keep the cup dream alive and continued to look for attack frequently.

A nice shot by Edin Visca from the edge of sixteen seemed to produce the equalizer, but his effort ended up on the crossbar via Günok's glove. It was a hit just before the end. Nicolás Pépé tapped in after Günok could only partially save on a header: 2-2.

The blood-curdling final seemed to be heading for extra time, but Al Musrati didn't feel like it and gave Besiktas the cup win with a low shot from about twenty meters: 3-2.
