Bayern Munich may strengthen itself with Callum Hudson-Odoi the day before the close of the transfer market. BILD reports that on Thursday der Rekordmeister is currently in talks with Chelsea about a loan move from the young forward. For the striker position, Bayern would also have targeted Andrej Kramaric, but his arrival does not seem feasible.

It is not the first time that Bayern has been linked to the arrival of Hudson-Odoi. The attacker seemed to be on his way to the Allianz Arena last year, until a serious injury threw a spanner in the works. The nineteen-year-old winger has since signed a new contract with Chelsea and is currently still with the Londoners until mid-2024.

Due to the presence of competitors such as Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner for the attacking positions, the chances for Hudson-Odoi this season seem limited and so a temporary transition to Bayern still beckons. The Germans said goodbye to mercenaries Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic in recent months, while newcomer Leroy Sané is out for a number of weeks with a knee injury. Trainer Hansi Flick therefore only has access to Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman in terms of real wing tips.

In addition to Hudson-Odoi, the name of Atlético Madrid attacker Thomas Lemar was also mentioned earlier this week as a possible new winger for the Germans. In addition to the hunt for a winger, Bayern also seems to be busy with the arrival of a backup from Robert Lewandowski. According to BILD Bayern recently reported to TSG Hoffenheim for Andrej Kramaric, but his arrival is not feasible from a financial point of view. A possible new striker would also compete with Joshua Zirkzee.
