HANSI Flick, Bayern Munich’s manager, says he has not set a deadline for his champion team to stop their party and bonfires.

Flick’s statement follows after the Bavarians won their sixth Champions League title.

Bayern beat Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 1-0 in Lisbon’s Estádio da Luz on Sunday.

It is also Bayern’s first treble since 2013.

Flick included Kingsley Coman in his starting lineup. Coman rewarded his manager when he scored the winning goal just before the hour mark.

Flick, who took over the reins from Niko Kovac in November, also won the Bundesliga title and the German Cup series this season.

Bayern’s victory over Thomas Tuchel (manager)’s PSG is their 21st victory in a row. Bayern are also the first team to win every match in a Champions League campaign.

According to Flick, Die Roten, as Bayern are also known, will celebrate long and hard after their “exceptional achievements this season.

“I have not yet set a deadline for when the party should stop,” Flick said.

“It is only right to celebrate your achievements, especially if it is so exceptional.

“You have to party and I have no idea when it will end.”

Flick also believes his team are well-deserved winners after Sunday’s final against PSG.

Determined

“There are so many individuals who need credit for our victory,” the manager added.

“You could see in our winter break how determined the team is.

“That’s all a coach wants, you know,” he added.

Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski walked away with the competition’s Golden Boot thanks to his 15 goals – just two short of Cristiano Ronaldo’s record.
