Sergio Agüero continues his career at Barcelona. The club channel of the Catalans reports on Monday in the programming that the official presentation of the Argentinian attacker is scheduled for 18.15 on Monday evening. That Agüero is indeed making the switch from Manchester City to Barcelona has not yet been officially announced, although that seems to be only a matter of time.
Agüero signs a two-year contract with Barcelona after the medical examination, it sounds from Spain. The transition of the 33-year-old striker had been in the air for some time. The Argentinian announced on March 29 that he would leave Manchester City after ten seasons. Agüero is the Citizens’ all-time top scorer with 260 goals in 389 official games. He became the champion of England five times and was with his club in the Champions League final against Chelsea on Saturday (0-1 defeat). As a substitute in the final phase, he made his last playing minutes for the team of manager Josep Guardiola.
