Atlético Madrid escaped after missed penalty in minute 91

Atlético Madrid remains the leader of LaLiga for the time being. The team of trainer Diego Simeone needed a single goal on Saturday to defeat Elche, although the victory in the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero could have been much higher and Elche missed a penalty just before the end: 0-1. The victory means that Atlético can wait with a good feeling for the results of Real Madrid (at home against Osasuna, Saturday), Barcelona (away against Valencia, Sunday) and Sevilla (at home against Athletic Club, Monday) and at least for the top match. will not give up first place against Barcelona.
