Atlético Madrid wants to recruit Silvano Vos, Fabrizio Romano reported on Thursday afternoon. Los Colchoneros have already shown interest in the young midfielder and now want to strike definitively. The club of coach Diego Simeone considers Vos to be a top talent. How Vos and Ajax feel about a transfer is as yet unknown.

Eighteen-year-old Vos joined Ajax’s youth academy in the summer of 2012. After going through various youth teams, he joined the first team of the team from Amsterdam since this season. Ajax will probably go very high in the tree, as Vos signed a contract until mid-2028 in July. Before that, he was under contract until mid-2024, with which Ajax seemed to have deterred interested clubs.

Atlético was one of the clubs that showed interest, but the club seemed to be missing out after Vos extended his contract. Ajax sees a top talent for the future in the central midfielder. Vos has therefore traveled with Ajax to Bulgaria, where the club will compete against Ludogorets in the Europa League on Thursday evening. The born Amsterdammer has played three games in the first team so far and made his debut last year during the home game against Fortuna Sittard.

A basic place for Vos at Ajax does not seem to be an option this season after the arrival of the more experienced Benjamin Tahirovic, while Branco van den Boomen also takes on a controlling role in midfield. To date, Vos has played 38 times for Jong Ajax, in which he was good for five hits and four assists. Vos said in July that he was still happy to be able to stay with Ajax longer. “Good feeling. I’m glad I can sign with Ajax. New contract, so I’m very happy.”
