Only a medical examination separates Sam Lammers from a temporary transfer to Genoa. Italian media, among others Sky Italy, report on Thursday evening that the club from Bergamo and Genoa have ‘finally’ found an agreement on a rental, without an option to buy. Lammers, who was also associated with a lease to Feyenoord, will undergo a medical examination in Genoa on Friday and then sign the lease.
Lammers, 24, had been nominated for several weeks to leave Atalanta on a rental basis, if a suitable club from the Serie A would come forward. The attacker has had a difficult first year in Serie A.
