ARSENAL have shown no respect for Premier League champions Liverpool.

And that’s why they’s this year’s Community Shield champion.

This follows after the Gunners beat the Reds 5-4 (1-1) on penalties during Saturday’s final at Wembley Stadium.

Liverpool’s youngster Ryan Brewster failed with his penalty which gave the Londoners the chance to win a 16th Community Shield.

It was definitely a two-half game after Arsenal’s goalie Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gave Arsenal the lead as early as the 12th minute.

Takumi Minamino, who played from the bench, equalized in the 73rd minute.

However, more was expected from Liverpool’s stalwarts such as Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane on offense.

On the contrary, Salah was power and Mané was not clinical enough with his goal chances.

That’s also why Jürgen Klopp, manager,’s Reds deserved to lose. On top of that, they were disappointing in the last third of the field.

Liverpool looked and played anything but a champion team.

It is also the second season in a row that Klopp and his team are stopped in the Community Shield final. That’s after Manchester City won them last year.
