Liverpool are interested in the services of Willian Pacho, it has been reported BILD. According to the German sports newspaper, the 22-year-old center defender from Eintracht Frankfurt should cost between fifty and sixty million euros.

Pacho came over from Royal Antwerp last summer for a fee of approximately nine million euros, where he was an absolute strongman under Mark van Bommel. With Toby Alderweireld as a partner in the heart of the center, Pacho captured the Belgian national title and cup with Antwerp.

Pacho is also a permanent force at Frankfurt this season and that has not gone unnoticed by Liverpool. The Reds, where Arne Slot will almost certainly be at the helm from next season, will see Joël Matip leave on a free transfer after this season, while the future of several other defenders in Liverpool is also not entirely certain. For example, Virgil van Dijk is cautiously linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

Even if Liverpool manages to pry Pacho away from Frankfurt, it is quite possible that the Ecuadorian will not be seen at Anfield next season. Pacho, who is still with the number six of the Bundesliga until mid-2028, could be stationed at Frankfurt for another year as part of further development.

Pacho made his international debut for Ecuador in March last year and subsequently collected a further nine caps. The man has already scored twice in those ten international matches. Florian Plettenberg van Sky Sports recently reported that Arsenal are also interested in Pacho's services, but Liverpool's interest seems more serious at the moment.

If Eintracht actually loses Pacho, the club already has two potential replacements in mind: Julian Chabot (FC Köln) and Konstantinos Koulierakis (PAOK). The latter was linked to Ajax by Greek media last month.

Pacho, a left-footer, has been assured of a starting place at Frankfurt since the start of the season and has played every Bundesliga match for which he was available from start to finish. Only against Köln Pacho did not play.
