Feyenoord will play against Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday in the same formation as last Thursday during the match against IF Elfsborg in the Conference League. Trainer Arne Slot opts for the same basic forces that ended the duel with the Swedes in a 5-0 victory. The duel with the PhD student from Deventer will start at 2.30 pm.

That means that Bryan Linssen is again in the striker at Feyenoord. Linssen is originally a left winger, but Slot has been preferring the former Vitesse player to real strikers like Róbert Bozeník and Naoufal Bannis in the point of attack for several weeks. Feyenoord is still looking for a new striker and hopes to strike in the final phase of the summer transfer market.

Feyenoord is still unbeaten after six matches in all competitions. Slot’s team won four of the five matches in the Conference League: only the match against FC Drita ended in a 0-0 draw. The season overture against Willem II was won 0-4 last week.
