Be responsible and behave so that we can have spectators at football stadiums again as soon as possible.
This is what Ander Herrera, a midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain, said on Monday after his team lost 0-1 to Bayern Munich in the final of the European Champions League on Sunday night.

Playing in the empty stadium in Lisbon, Portugal, “was awful, terrible”, says Herrera.

“For me, fans are the most important thing in football.

“Of course the game had to continue, because it is big money. “Even people who are suffering now could escape by watching matches,” said the Spaniard.

Organizers described the “last eight” tournament of the Champions League in Lisbon and the Europa League in Germany as successful.

Parked cars in Parc des Princes and Champs Elysees were damaged or set on fire by angry PSG supporters.
“But without spectators we are nothing,” says Herrera.

A total of 158 people were arrested on Sunday before and after the final in Paris for rioting and vandalism.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin says 16 policemen were injured, 12 shops were looted and 15 cars were damaged.

Most trouble was in the Champs Elysees where fans crowded together to watch the final.
