Carlo Ancelotti considers Richarlison his ideal first signing at Real Madrid. nieuwe’s new coach the Royal has had telephone contact with the 24-year-old Everton attacker, it assures Goal. Ancelotti has instructed club management to prepare for the arrival of Richarlison, with whom he worked for two years at the Toffees. The Italian coach himself made the switch from Everton to Real in June.

Ancelotti has asked Richarlison how he feels about a move to Madrid. That conversation took place while the attacker was in the Brazilian camp, with which he is active in the Copa América. Richarlison had a starting spot in four of the six games played at that tournament and came on twice. Brazil qualified for the final on Tuesday by beating Peru 1-0. On Sunday, Argentina or Colombia will be the opponent in the final battle in the Maracanã.

A potential Richarlison transition is still at an early stage, but the process may be progressing according to Goal develop in the near future. Ancelotti has been given a decisive vote in the purchase policy by the management and is therefore strongly pushing for the arrival of his former pupil. Real Madrid have not yet reported to Everton, but have the idea to make ‘an attack’ in the coming months.

Richarlison was close to a move to Ajax in 2017, but opted for Watford at the last minute, which paid twelve million euros. A year later, the South American already made a step up to Everton, which paid no less than 45 million euros. Richarlison is fixed until mid-2024, so that technical director Marcel Brands has no need to proceed with the sale. The Brazilian stands by the Toffees after three seasons in 119 official games, scoring 42 times and providing 9 assists.
