Feyenoord hopes to add another attacker to the selection of trainer Arne Slot in the last week of the transfer window. In recent weeks, various names have passed in the corridors, but so far technical director Frank Arnesen has not struck. The Dutch winger Javairô Dilrosun of Hertha BSC will not come to De Kuip in any case; he turns out to be too expensive for Feyenoord and can also choose from various clubs with interest.

In recent weeks, 32-year-old Club Brugge striker Bas Dost and Adolfo Gaich have been associated with Feyenoord. The latter is a 22-year-old striker from CSKA Moscow. According to the newspaper, the two Argentine attackers are in the picture to strengthen Slot’s selection.

Barreal already appeared on the radar at Feyenoord in the summer of 2019. At the time, he was still a player for Velez Sarsfield. According to the newspaper, the name of Castellanos also sings around in De Kuip. It concerns a 22-year-old center striker who is under contract with New York City FC until the end of 2025. The Argentine youth international is according to Transfermarkt worth four million euros. Slot does not have a center striker who is considered good enough for a basic place. Bryan Linssen, by nature a left winger, is currently playing in the attacking point. Róbert Bozeník and Naoufal Bannis are currently only in the picture as substitutes.
