Almere City FC failed to take over second place in the Kitchen Champion Division from De Graafschap on Friday. The number three did not score in the remainder of last Monday due to heavy snowfall: 0-0.

The artificial turf in Kerkrade was no longer playable last Monday due to the heavy snow showers that were sweeping the country at that time. Referee Ingmar Oostrom therefore decided to strike after exactly 67 minutes. Also in the remaining 23 minutes, the teams of Jurgen Streppel and Jeroen Rijsdijk did not score on Friday.

De Graafschap remains second behind SC Cambuur with 67 points from 32 games, which is one point more than Almere City. The Frisian leader has nine points more than the number two from Doetinchem, NAC Breda is the number four with 63 points.
