Ajax will start this afternoon from 16.45 with Lisandro Martínez and Mohammed Kudus on the home game against RKC Waalwijk. Martínez replaces the suspended Nicolás Tagliafico on the left back, while Kudus plays in midfield instead of Ryan Gravenberch. Initially it was unclear why Gravenberch is missing from coach Erik ten Hag’s squad, but Ajax have since let it be known that the young midfielder is not a match fit. Ten Hag has also opted for the same names that won 0-1 last week from Sparta Rotterdam.

Tagliafico was suspended this afternoon, after he got a red card last week against Sparta in the first half. Furthermore, Ten Hag chooses again for Noussair Mazraoui on the right back position; Sergiño Dest is on the reserve bench and, with a view to a transfer to Bayern Munich, only comes into action in case of an emergency at his own request. In the front Ten Hag chooses again Dusan Tadic, Antony and Zakaria Labyad, where the latter will start from the point. Antony became matchwinner against Sparta with a shot from distance.
