Ajax has managed to bind main sponsor Ziggo for longer. The Amsterdammers will announce on Friday that the long-term collaboration has been extended by two years. Due to the new deal, Ziggo will be the club’s main sponsor until at least 2025. Ziggo annually pays a fixed amount of nine million euros to Ajax and a maximum of two million euros in bonuses.

Ajax reports that in the partnership with Ziggo, the focus will remain on providing exclusive content on Ziggo Sport and ‘offering benefits to fans of the club’. “The latter will be intensified immediately via Priority; the new customer program of Ziggo and Vodafone. Via this platform, fans get access to special experiences at Ajax and ticket promotions for matches. No changes have been made to the other conditions and details of the collaboration.

“Ziggo has been on our shirt since 2015 and you can safely speak of a partnership that gets better and stronger every year,” commercial director Menno Geelen said on the club’s website. “We are grateful to Ziggo for the support they have already given and for their confidence in our future. As we look back on 10 years of main sponsorship in 2025, I am sure we will look back with satisfaction on the sporting successes we shared and how our fans have benefited from this long-term partnership.”

Marcel de Groot, VodafoneZiggo consumer market director, adds: “We are proud of the extension of our main sponsorship and see that Ajax’s appeal is only increasing.
