Erik ten Hag has announced the line-up for Sunday afternoon’s home game against AZ. The leader in the Eredivisie has only two changes compared to the meeting with FC Utrecht (1-1) on Thursday evening. Davy Klaassen replaces Mohammed Kudus in the center of Ajax’s midfield, while Antony takes the place of David Neres in the front. The clash in the Johan Cruijff ArenA starts at 2.30 p.m.

Klaassen and Antony got a rest from Ten Hag against Utrecht on Thursday, although the midfielder and the wing attacker still came in as a substitute. Nevertheless, Ajax dropped two points in the hunt for the championship in the Eredivisie. PSV also won 1-0 against FC Groningen on Saturday evening, which means that the Amsterdam club cannot yet win the national title this Sunday. With a win over AZ, however, they are unofficially champion. The lead on number two PSV then grows to 12 points (76 to 64 points). Both clubs will play four more times this season after this round.

Ajax setup: Stekelenburg; Rensch, Timber, Martinez, Tagliafico; Álvarez, Gravenberch, Klaassen; Antony, Haller, Tadic.

Setup AZ: Bizot; Sugawara, Letschert, Martins Indi, Wijndal; Midtsjö, Koopmeinersm, Gudmundsson; Stengs, Boadu and Karlsson.
