Martijn Reuser is the new trainer of Ajax Under 17, the club announced on Monday evening through the official channels. The former midfielder was part of Ajax’s selection in 1995, which then won the Champions League, although he did not make any minutes in the European season. Reuser says he is very much looking forward to the new challenge.

Reuser left Ajax in 2000 for the English Ipswich. In addition to Ajax and Ipswich, the former midfielder was also a player under contract with Vitesse, RKC Waalwijk, Willem II and NAC Breda. He retired from football at the club from Breda. After his active career as a football player, he became a youth coach at NAC. Via ADO Den Haag he then ended up at the KNVB, where he trained several youth teams in recent years.
