Ajax broke a dubious club record in the 23rd round of the Eredivisie. Ahmetcan Kaplan, who made his official debut against AZ (2-0 loss), was already the 34th player that Ajax used this season, as calculated Opta.
Never before has Ajax used so many different players in the competition in one season. It should also be noted that the Eredivisie season still lasts eleven rounds.

Kian Fitz-Jim could become the 35th player that Ajax uses for the remainder of the season. The midfielder was recalled from his loan at Excelsior in January and is structurally on the bench. Fitz-Jim has not yet had any playing minutes at Ajax this season.
