Turkish football will again receive a hard blow on Thursday evening. The country, which made a free fall in the coefficient rankings last season, will lose two European participants with Sivasspor and Trabzonspor at a very early stage of the season. Sivasspor had no chance against FC Copenhagen, where Mohamed Daramy played his last game. The nineteen-year-old attacker, who moves to Ajax for twelve million euros, made one of the five hits: 5-0. Furthermore, AS Roma won at home against Trabzonspor: 3-0.

FC Copenhagen – Sivasspor 5-0
Copenhagen was so interested in reaching the group stage of the Conference League that the Danes stipulated in the negotiations with Ajax that Daramy would still be allowed to play against Sivasspor. Copenhagen had already won 1-2 and finished it at home with great conviction. After a good header from Jens Stage (1-0), Daramy gave his farewell gift to the Copenhagen supporters just before half-time. The attacker dribbled in from the left wing and shot in the short corner: 2-0.

Fumbling in the build-up of Sivasspor led to Lukas Lerager being able to score the third Danish goal in the second half: 3-0. A nice attack over three pieces resulted in Pep Biel’s 4-0, while Rasmus Hojlund settled two opponents after a long ball from Nicolai Boilesen and hit the short corner: 4-0.

AS Roma – Trabzonspor 3-0
AS Roma is one of the favorites to win the first edition of the Conference League this season. After the 1-2 win in Turkey, Jose Mourinho’s team did not make it exciting at home. Rick Karsdorp put the ball aside in the twentieth minute to Bryan Cristante, who shot low from the edge of the penalty area: 1-0. Twenty minutes later Nicolo Zaniolo was launched via a long ball from Gianluca Mancini, after which the attacker calmly finished it: 2-0. Substitute Stephan El Shaarawy provided the final chord by coming in from the left and scoring after a few feints: 3-0.
