ADO Den Haag continues its way up in the Kitchen Champion Division. The team of coach Ruud Brood won 0-1 against Jong PSV on Monday evening and therefore takes fourth place in the Kitchen Champion Division, two points behind Jong AZ. At PSV, which is in sixteenth place with seven points, Maximiliano Romero returned within the lines after just under a year of injury.
In the first match ever between Jong PSV and ADO, the first achievements came from the visitors. In the sixth minute, Samy Bourard scored from the edge of the penalty area for a shot that did not cause any problems for goalkeeper Vincent Müller. After fifteen minutes, Thomas Verheydt had a head start after a well-played attack, but again Müller paid close attention. Then a shot by Gregor Breinburg exploded on the crossbar.

PSV was not indifferent. The home team played fiercely, but most of the chances remained for ADO. A few minutes before the break, the relegant actually took the lead. After a quickly taken free kick, ADO combined fluently and at lightning speed in the half of PSV. The final station was Bourard, who made no mistake in the rounding: 0-1. In the second act, the number of chances decreased. The first serious one was after twelve minutes for Jeremy Antonisse, who shot a meter over the goal of ADO. Fifteen minutes before the end, a long shot by Vicente Besuijen missed the right direction.
The return of Romero was the first real highlight of the PSV match. After 68 minutes, the attacker made his entrance as Cheick Touré’s replacement. The Argentine attacker suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury on September 24 last year in the away game against NS Mura (1-5). He was part of the selection in PSV’s matches against Real Sociedad (2-2) and Feyenoord (0-4 defeat), but remained on the bench for ninety minutes. Luis Felipe also made his appearance as a substitute, after missing the last five games due to injury.
