ADO Den Haag achieved a convincing victory in the Kitchen Champion Division on Sunday afternoon. At home, coach Darije Kalezic's team was much too strong for FC Den Bosch with a 3-0 score. The goals were scored by Jari Vlak, Henk Veerman and Henri Koudossou. Thanks to the victory, ADO remains in the wake of leader Willem II, who enjoys a five-point lead.

Kalezic made a change compared to the lost quarter-final against NEC in the TOTO KNVB Cup (3-0). Daryl van Mieghem moved to the right side of the field, freeing up a spot for Joel Ideho in the left winger position.

At FC Den Bosch, Salah Oulad M'Hand and Mees Laros, who were not there from the start in the match against Helmond Sport (0-0), this time they were on the line from the first minute of play.

The match started excellently for ADO, which had at least three excellent opportunities early in the match. After the first quarter of an hour, Kalezic's team took a 1-0 lead.

On his home debut, Vlak was given the ball at his feet after an indirect free kick, and he fired an excellent shot into the short corner. In the remainder of the first half, ADO remained the dominant party, but another goal did not spark the attacking spirit.

After more than an hour of play, the liberating second goal was found. From a corner, Van Mieghem delivered a tailor-made cross to Veerman, who headed in from close range: 2-0.

After the second goal, ADO continued to dominate and the game was finally closed in injury time. On a pass from Jort van der Sande, Koudossou recorded the final score: 3-0.
