ADO Den Haag seems to have been saved from destruction. It General Newspaper reports Thursday that the club has found a new owner with Bolt Football Holdings. According to the newspaper, the club management communicated to interested parties within and around the club on Thursday morning that an agreement has been reached with the American investment company.

When the paperwork is approved by the license committee of the KNVB, the club is definitively saved from destruction. The takeover does not come out of the blue, because last week several talks were held with Bolt Football Holdings, also owner of Waasland Beveren and Estoril, among others. The investment company did research and then made an offer.

The as yet unknown amount that Bolt Football Holdings has released is enough to pay off the debts and build a healthy future, it sounds like. The newspaper emphasizes that the Cars Jeans Stadium will remain in the hands of the municipality. City Football Group also showed interest until the last moment. The American investment company was chosen because it will focus on the potential of the club itself. City Football Group saw in ADO a training club for Manchester City.
