AC Milan has had a busy transfer evening. Just hours after it was announced that Olivier Giroud had made his move to I Rossoneric is wrapping up, Fabrizio Romano is coming out with more transfer news from Milan. The transfer market specialist reports that the Milanese have reached an agreement with Real Madrid on the loan of Brahim Diaz, while Fodé Ballo-Touré, for an amount of up to 4.5 million euros, is making the switch from AS Monaco to Milan. Both names are expected at the club next Saturday.

Díaz is signing a two-year lease with Milan, which is said to pay the Madrilenians a fee of three million euros. In addition, there is a purchase option involved in the lease. Milan can take over the Brazilian at the end of the rental period for an amount of 22 million euros. Real Madrid has also managed to negotiate a buy-back option worth 27 million euros.

Before his stint with the Monegasques, the left-back played in the youth ranks of Paris Saint-Germain and made his Ligue 1 debut on behalf of Lille OSC.

Earlier in the evening it was also announced that Giroud will continue his career at AC Milan. According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Frenchman, who has already been spotted at the club, only has to pass the medical examination. The 34-year-old attacker appears to be leaving Chelsea for a maximum amount of two million euros: the fixed transfer fee is only one million euros and another million euros can be added if certain sporting achievements are met. Reportedly, Giroud will sign for two years, for an annual salary of five million euros.
