AC Milan suffered a costly loss of points in the Serie A on Saturday evening. On a visit to the last player Salernitana, the team of trainer Stefano Pioli did not go further than a 2-2 draw. Despite the points sharing, Milan still leads the way in Italy, where Internazionale occupies second place with two games and two points less than the city’s rivals. Earlier in the day, AS Roma spilled points at home against Hellas Verona: 2-2.

I Rossoneric seemed to be in for an easy evening, as Junior Messias opened the scoring in the fifth minute of play. Theo Hernández had a splitting through ball on the Brazilian, who finished up close and coolly. Afterwards, Milan already seemed to take the foot off the accelerator. Salernitana saw his chance after half an hour of play and equalized via Federico Bonazzoli. The left winger took advantage of a slip by goalkeeper Mike Maignan and scored the 1-1 in an acrobatic way. The home side even took the lead in the second half.

At first, Bonazzoli was still quite disappointed, since he rabona was taken off the goal line by Alessio Romagnoli. Milan Djuric managed to put Salernitana at 2-1 in the 72nd minute. Pasquale Mazzocchi had a nice cross in the house on the striker, who nodded in diving. Within five minutes, Ante Rebic leveled the score with a powerful shot into the bottom corner. In the remaining fifteen minutes, Milan had a few more chances to score the winning goal, which, however, were not found.

A weak AS Roma game preceded Mourinho’s outburst. Hellas took the lead in the fifth minute, when goalkeeper Rui Patrício tapped a cross into the feet of Antonin Barak. The latter rounded off from close by: 0-1. It got even worse for the Romans halfway through the first half. It was in fact Adrien Tameze who doubled the advantageous margin on a pass from Gianluca Caprari: 0-2. In the second company AS Roma straightened their backs, but they could not escape the loss of points. Cristian Volpato made it 1-2, while Edoardo Bove equalized in the 84th minute, six minutes after coming on: 2-2. Rick Karsdorp played the entire match.
