Thijmen Nijhuis to Finland

Goalkeeper Thijmen Nijhuis (25) will be under contract with HJK Helsinki next season. The 1.97 meter tall goalie was a free agent after leaving FC Utrecht this summer. The Finnish top club has also negotiated the option to extend Nijhuis' stay by one season.

André Ramalho (32) will make his debut in his native country

André Ramalho will be joining Corinthians as previously announced. The 32-year-old defender was a free agent in recent weeks after leaving PSV. His transfer to Brazil will see Ramalho make his debut in his native country at a late age. The experienced man-marker has signed a contract until mid-2026.

Raatsie from FC Utrecht to Excelsior

Calvin Raatsie will play for Excelsior for the next three seasons, the Kralingse club and FC Utrecht announced Tuesday via the official channels. The 22-year-old goalkeeper, first choice under the bar for Jong Oranje, will continue his career in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. He also played in that competition last season, on loan at Roda JC Kerkrade.

FC Emmen signs Franck Evina

FC Emmen is taking over Franck Evina from SV Sandhausen, which plays in the third tier of Germany. The 24-year-old winger scored five times last season and has signed for two seasons. “With Franck, we are bringing in a player who has had an excellent education. He fits in with the way of playing that we have in mind with his speed and depth. He is also a good pressing player and can be deployed both as a striker and on the outside,” responds technical manager Nico Haak via the club website.

Ajax target Nuno Tavares signs with Lazio

Lazio has acquired Nuno Tavares from Arsenal, both clubs announced on Monday via official channels. The 24-year-old wing defender will initially come on loan, but must be bought next summer. According to Sky Sports Ajax was also interested in renting Tavares.

Iván Márquez returns to NEC

Iván Márquez can call himself a NEC player again. The Spanish defender left for FC Nürnberg in the summer of 2023 after two seasons, but returns a year later on loan. The Nijmegen team has also negotiated an option to buy the thirty-year-old man-marker.

“This is coming home,” says Márquez in conversation with NEC TV. “I am very happy that I could come back and I am looking forward to the season. This afternoon (Monday afternoon, ed.) I gave everyone a hug and it felt like I had never been away. Everyone in Nijmegen can count on me again soon.”

Dean Huiberts swaps PEC Zwolle for Beerschot

Beerschot is definitely the new club of Dean Huiberts. The 24-year-old midfielder, after five years of playing for the first team of PEC Zwolle, makes the switch to the Belgian promoted club.

In the second half of last season, Beerschot already rented Huiberts from PEC. That half year apparently tasted like more and so it has now come to a permanent transfer.

Mats Seuntjens signs with CD Castellón

Bredanaar Mats Seuntjens (32) has completed his transfer to Castellón of trainer Dick Schreuder. The midfielder and attacker came according to Football International through brother Ralf in contact with the trainer. Seuntjens seemed to return to NAC for a long time, but is now going to work abroad.
