Victor Osimhen could be on the verge of leaving Napoli. Paris Saint-Germain are showing concrete interest in the 25-year-old striker, reports Fabrizio Romano. Talks with the Nigerian international's entourage are going well.

According to Romano, Osimhen himself is also open to a contract with the French top club. The Parisians still have to reach an agreement with Napoli about the transfer fee to be paid.

Romano did not mention how much PSG was willing to pay and the price tag Napoli had put around Osimhen's neck. Transfer market estimates his current market value at 100 million euros. At the end of last year, Osimhen signed a new contract with Napoli until mid-2026, which reportedly includes a release clause of around 120 million euros.

Deal already sealed?

The Mattinoa local newspaper in Naples, reports that Osimhen will even fly to Paris on Wednesday or Thursday to sign a contract with the French champions.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis reportedly turned down the offer to include PSG players in the deal, prompting PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to decide to activate the release clause in Osimhen's contract. According to reports, the striker could earn an annual salary of 12 million euros.

Osimhen has been under contract with Napoli since mid-2020, with him as attacking leader, who managed to win their first national title in 33 years in 2023. The striker scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists last season.
