Latest update:

The Netherlands has a 23.7 percent chance of winning the European Championship. At least that is the calculation of data agency Gracenote Sports. Striking: the Netherlands has a higher chance of reaching the final (54.6%) than opponent England (45.4%).

The Netherlands, together with upcoming opponent England, form the second of two semi-finals. In the other semi-final duel, the battle for a place in the final is between France and Spain.

According to Gracenote, Spain has the best chance of being in Berlin on Sunday 14 July. They count on a 55.2% chance of a place in the final, marginally higher than the team of national coach Ronald Koeman.

France logically has a slightly smaller chance of reaching the final than England. 44.8 percent chance for the French and therefore 45.4 percent chance for The Three Lionsto be precise.

The chances of winning the EC are also the greatest for the Spaniards. The differences in chances of the final victory are considerably higher. National coach Luis de la Fuente has a 33.7 percent chance with his team to seize the fourth EC title in the history of the country.

Should France beat Spain, they are the obvious winners. However, with 25.2 percent, they have a significantly lower chance of lifting the trophy on Sunday.

According to Gracenote, the Netherlands is the team that has the best chance of crowning itself the winner after Spain and France. With a chance of 23.7 percent, that chance is slightly smaller than for the French. The data agency has bad news for the English. With 17.4 percent, they are attributed the smallest chance of the final victory.
